Hectic Schedule

Hello Friends and Family,
I wanna start off by saying that my email account was automatically updated and I have lost many of the emails that are normally on my list so if you could please email me your email addresses.

This past week was suppose to be our Fall Break. For all those students who don't play basketball they did have a break. But for those of us on the team we were busier than ever.

On Wednesday our whole team went down to Old For Elementary school to play with and talk to some of the kids in the after school program. It was a lot of fun and little kids are so funny and they really looked up to us. When we were leaving we were signing autographs and everything.

Thursday and Friday were our days of no school, so what did that mean for us (the basketball team) 2 A DAYS! on Thursday we practiced at 9 am and 4 pm and had weights in between. On Friday we practiced at 7 am and 4 pm and had weights in between.

Saturday was a lot of fun for us. Our team was invited to participate in a coach's clinic in Charlotte, NC. What happened was there were current and past coaches there to speak and demonstrate drills and plays, we, the team, would demonstrate what the coach was talking about. the clinic lasted from 10 am to 6 pm, they fed us and it was really a great time. The coaches that spoke were; Stephen Miss and his coaching staff from Belmont Abbey College, Kellie Harper head Women's basketball coach at NC State, Al Brown assistant Women's coach at Duke University, Mike Young head coach at Wofford College, Rick Ray assistant coach at Clemson University, Paul Silas former NBA player and coach, and Jay Bilas former assistant coach at Duke University and current college basketball analyzer for ESPN. It was a great experience to meet all these great coaches and we had a great time as a team.

Our first game is coming up very soon and we are all getting excited about. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. God Bless and Remember You Have A Destiny!!!
