This past week was another busy one, but at the end of the week I had a lot fun. So this past week was our third and final week of conditioning. On Monday we will start practice. The conditioning was hard and rough but we made it through.
We did something new this year on the basketball team. We had an event called Moonlight Madness on Friday night after the volleyball game. What is was was a chance for our fans to come out and have good time, meet the players and the coaches. We also put a little show on for them. Doing lay-up/dunk lines (I surprised a bunch of people and my teammates by dunking the ball twice). We also did a 3-point contest and dunk contest. We also had some contests for the fans as well. It was great night and we had a fantastic turn out.
Then on Saturday out coach got us good. He said that we would do some conditioning in the morning and then team bonding afterward. But we did was go to Charlotte, NC and spend the day at Carrowinds (an amusement park). So we spent the whole day having fun and getting to know one anther.
Classes are still going great and with that basketball and the play I am always busy, never really have any down time except on the weekends.
This year is going great so far, please continue to keep me, my family and my teammates and coaches in your prayers.
