This week was re
ally good. Workouts were still pretty hard, but we are striving to be the best conditioned team in our conference. I am getting to know the guys on the team really well. That is a big difference from Western; there my teammates hardly ever invited me to things. Here at Montreat they call me to see if I want to go to breakfast.
My classes are great as well it is a new experience for me to have Christian teachers and teach their lessons from a Christian view point.
I am really looking forward to the up coming season.
Funny Note: So yeah Montreat is in the mountains and so there is wildlife up here. So I am hanging out with some of my teammates in the other dorm hall (mine is up this big hill). It was around 1:30 in the morning and I was playing video games. All of sudden there is a frantic knock at the door. The guy comes and his eyes are about as big as baseballs and he say “Man there is a BIG O bear outside the door!” So we all look out the window and see this huge black bear just chillin. As you probably can guess I didn’t walk back to my dorm that night. I slept on a futon in one of my teammates rooms. LOL
