Time with the Family

The past two weeks have been a great and relaxing time. When I first arrived in CO I went with my family to a condo in Dillon, CO. We spent about a week up there. And we just relaxed, played games and had a great time together. It has been awhile since we were able to do that.

Since we have been back in the Springs I have been able to catch up on some rest and do some intense training for the up coming basketball season. I have also been able to see some old family friends that I have not seen in awhile.

One of the things that I did to train was something called the Incline. It is on the face of the mountain here and its a little over a mile hike but it goes straight up and you go from about 6000 ft to 9000 ft very quickly. It was rough and tiring but I made to the top and I will be doing it again this week.

I am looking forward to school starting next week. I move in on Monday and start classes on Tuesday. It is going to be fun year. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. As many of you know College is a very fun and expensive time. I am starting something new this year and I am calling it The Christian Tonkins Book fund.
