Hello Friends and Family,
My summer is going very well but I have been so very busy. I was glad to have this 4th of July weekend to get some rest, we had Monday offJ. However, I am learning a lot this year. Yes I am still just an intern but I am doing real projects that actually affect the company and I am making decisions as well. I am working with different people and I am the lead person on a few projects. It is somewhat overwhelming and exciting at the same time. I know that the experience I am getting will help me so much in the long run and once I finish school. I am in the corporate world every day.
I will not go into detail on the projects that I am working on, but I will do that later in the summer once I am finished working. Also the pictures show my new work space for the remainder of the summer. It is a step up from the file room LOL.
I am excited about next week; I will be traveling to Atlanta, GA for the Emma L. Bowen Foundation iLink Conference. Certain students from the foundation get selected to attend this event and work in groups of four to put together a project and present it to our peers. I am looking forward to a good time.
Also I will be traveling to Evansville, IN to pick up my car. It has been a roller coaster ride not having my own car, but the Lord has kept me safe and provided.

I am glad to know that you are no longer in the file room. That is a small space for a guy as tall as you...lol. I am proud of you son.
