Summer Time

Hello Friends and Family,



I know it has been a long time since I have made a post to my blog, sorry about that. Everything has just been so hectic. My goal is to get back to giving weekly updates.



My school year ended really well, I made so many friends at Montreat, and I was able to get really close to my teammates. We all look out for each other and are looking forward to next season.



My summer, even though it is still young, has already had its ups and downs. I was able to go home (CO Springs, CO) and see my family and be with them for about 2 weeks. While I was there I was privileged to purchase my first car. And yes I bought it with my money it was very exciting. The plan was to drive across country to NC and start my internship. However on the second day of my trip I ran into a problem.



In Evansville, IN my car broke down on the side of the highway. It was a scary feeling. But the Lord took care of me. We were able to get a tow truck out to get me and take me to a hotel. Then my Mom called some local churches and they helped me get around and get a bus ticket to NC. The bus ride was interesting. But it made me feel so good that God still uses his people. I mean the people at this church didn't know me but yet they allowed the Lord to use them and they took care of me.



So as of now my car is still in IN and needs a new engine. My family and I are working on getting the funds together to get it repaired and get me back on the road. If there is anyone out there who would like to help us and get my car repaired it would be greatly appreciated and as always we can use your prayers.
